I have a problem with my ’02 Nissan altima 3.5 SE that carries a chainsaw kind of noise coming from the engine. car is running fine and smoothly however there is this chainsaw noise from my engine when going at 2-3 rpm then its gone.

techs say its a FLAW to all 3.5 engines including the maximas. tech told me he had a customer with maxima apparently had the same problem at 60km.. Click to expand… Could be something up with the chain. Got Gas? Me Neither! have you checked all your heat shields. I had this issue, but it was actually part of the exhaust.
