Why are my front running lights not working?

How can I get my running lights to work?
Make sure each light is grounded to the trailer frame and that the connection to the trailer frame is free of rust, paint and corrosion. Other lights like running lights down the side of the trailer may have a separate ground wire or they may be grounded through the mounting hardware so you will need to check each of these lights.

I have brake lights and turn signals but cannot get the running lights to work. The 4-way on your trailer is what’s known as a wishbone connector like part # A35W42B. Two of the wires are the running light circuit which is a little easier to install since you can run one down each side of the trailer.
Why do the brake lights turn off but not the running lights?
