What to do if your Nissan power window is not working?
Nissan has issued a service bulletin to address Nissan power window problems where the power windows may not work properly after the vehicle’s battery has been disconnected or a window fuse blows. Do NOT replace the window regulator or window controller. The Nissan power window problems can be corrected by performing a re-initialization process.
Why is my power window switch not working?
You may have a problem with the driver-side Power Window Control Panel. You have to pull out the panel and inspect the connection. It’s also possible that the Power Window Relay or related fusible link link/CB is defective. Refer to the attached link and stat on page EL-250 for the schematic diagram.

After performing the limit switch reset procedure, if the window still goes all the way up and then comes back down several inches when using the “auto” feature of the power window switch, check the voltage on the limit switch circuit to determine if the limit switch inside the power window motor is defective.

When does the power window switch turn off?
When the power window switch sees the 5 volts return on the limit switch signal wire, the power window switch knows the window is fully closed and stops power window motor operation.
