How to change rear brake pads-retract parking brake?
I have those exact same pads on the rear of my SI. You can do this one of two ways. The first is just like you mentioned. You have to go to Honda or gain access to the OEM Honda scan tool (HDS) and retract the electric parking brake and put it in maintenance mode.

What to do if your rear brakes are not working?
Any electrical faults in the rear ABS system are generally indicated with a light illuminated and if so, then the flash codes can be read out. But with no light illuminated then there most likely no electrical failures in the system.

Also you’ll have to turn off the ebrake. If you haven’t removed the two things with the 7mm then do that first and remove the metal spring rod thing. Then remove brake pads then do thing I said earlier at 17:00 in the video to put the top of the rear brake pad on.

Can a caliper not release cause brake drag?
Just like with the master cylinder not releasing causing the brake drag, a caliper not releasing and staying applied can do the same thing. If only one position is dragging, this could be the case.
