Firstly, bleeding the brakes was a pain. Had to apply about 15 Lb/sq inch to get any fluid at any brake nipple. Eventually bled them both had a very soft brake pedal when engine was running and could pump a very had one when engine not running. This seemed to get better with a succession of bleeds.
