Is RockShox Reba good?
The RockShox Reba RL is one of the lightest forks in our trail fork test, and it feels like it. Its steering, stiffness, and precision are adequate, but certainly not as precise and crisp as many of the other 29’er forks we tested.
What psi RockShox Reba?
Rockshox recommends anywhere from 105-130 psi for me at ~180lbs.

How much air do I put in my RockShox shock?
Max pressure should not exceed 163 psi. Rebound suggestions are set from the full clockwise/full slow position. These suggestions are a recommended starting point. Your riding style, terrain, and bicycle geometry can benefit from further adjustments to tune your suspension for your preferences.
Can you use a regular pump for shocks?
A special shock pump is needed for properly adjusting an air shock. They inject a tiny amount of air into the chamber of a shock and increase the pressure to very high levels. A regular tire pump cannot complete this task. It will be inaccurate and will prevent you from adjusting the shock properly.
How much air do I put in a fork?
Sag should be set to 15 – 20% of total fork travel To achieve the best performance from your FOX suspension, adjust the air pressure to attain your proper sag setting. Sag is the amount your suspension compresses under your weight and riding gear. Sag range should be set to 15–20% of total fork travel.
What PSI should my front shock be?
I’ve heard that as a general rule of thumb I should set the front shocks to 100% my body weight in terms of psi, and the rear shocks to 75% my weight (i.e. Front shocks at 110 psi and rear shocks at ~78 psi).
How big is a RockShox Reba RL 29 axle?
RockShox Reba RL 29”. Travel: 120mm. Axle to Crown: 525mm. Offset: 46mm. Blister’s Measured Weight: 3.66lb / 1662g (with axle) Street Price: $519.00. Reviewer: 6’2” , 210 lbs. Test Location: Utah / Wasatch front range, from high alpine backcountry trails to smooth, in-town XC trails.
Are there 120mm travel forks on the Reba?
As Marshal noted, the Reba is fairly light compared to the class of 120mm-travel forks, which usually wouldn’t bode well for its stiffness. I’m not the heaviest guy, so chassis stiffness isn’t my number one concern.
What kind of offset does a Reba Fork have?
At 46mm, the Reba has one of the shortest offsets (also known as “rake”) in the test, and it is surprisingly noticeable. Offset is how far forward the fork’s axle sits from the center of the steerer tube. This is also referred to as the amount of rake a fork has.
