It is sudden, it is abrupt, and it is not normal. I fear it will cause premature wear on the transmission components.

Kinda like the Kodi 700 was a couple years back …new motor, new everything . Thanks! So far I like it a lot. It doesn’t have the power of the 700 but it does pretty well.
