How is Progyluton tablet used?
Cyclic Estrogen and Progestogen e.g. Progyluton® Contains estrogen tablets and combined estrogen and progestogen tablets, in one pack. You should take one tablet daily for 21 consecutive days, preferably at the same time every day. Then, stop for 7 days – during which time a withdrawal bleed usually occurs.
Can we conceive while taking Progyluton?
If you are sexually active and there are no contraindications, then the combined oral contraceptive pill is preferred. In older women over 40 years, where the oral contraceptive pill may be contraindicated, then Progyluton is a safe choice. But pregnancy can occur when taking it since it does not prevent ovulation.

If the woman forgets to take a tablet at the usual time, she may take it within the following 12 hours. If the woman is more than 12 hours late the forgotten tablet should not be taken and the remaining tablets taken at the usual time on the right days. A missed dose may lead to breakthrough bleeding or spotting.
