In one thread a forum member said he purchased an infra-red heat sensor and shot it at the tranny when the light came on, only to find that the temp on the tranny pan was 180 degrees. If the tranny was overheating, would it show on the tranny pan temp with a infra-red sensor, or would this temp be cooler than the inside of the tranny?
