How does the Check Engine oil level light work?
Just like the windshield washer level indicator, it is only a mechanical switch. When liquid is added and the level rises, the switch turns off. You have damaged the contact/wiring/plug and the level system is indicating low. that is what I believed originally, Ray, but wanted to be sure. Are you aware of any dedicated fuse for that function?
