How do you wire a hazard warning light?
Connect the green/white wire from the hazard switch to the green/white circuit and connect the green wire from the hazard switch to the green/red circuit. On many classics, including most MG, Triumph & Mini models, these connections can be used using bullet connectors to match the existing connections.

Can anyone advise on wiring up a none factory hazard warning switch? The factory switch has 8 connections and I’m looking to use a switch with only 2. I am struggling to understand how a Hazard switch could have only 2 connections…. Have you already got such a switch ?
How does the hazard switch work on a car?
The White wire connects to the Dash Harness, and then to SPLIT 1. One branch of the White wire continues to the Fuse Box. It goes to the fuse and comes out Green/Yellow. The Green/Yellow wire goes to SPLIT 2. One branch of the Green/Yellow wire becomes Blue/Yellow and goes to the Hazard Flasher.

Have you already got such a switch ? It sounds like you are looking at the wrong switch, they can come with a variety of switch blocks (or none at all).
