How do you use cruise control on a 2005 Subaru Outback?

- Press the “CRUISE” main switch button. The cruise control indicator light on the combination meter will illuminate.
- Depress the accelerator pedal until the vehicle reaches the desired speed.
- Press the “RES/SET” switch to the “SET” side and release it.
Why does my Subaru say cruise?
When the check engine light does come on the cruise control light will blink indicating that the cruise control has been disabled and the vehicle’s dynamic stability control light will come on indicating that it also has been disabled.
