How do you turn the airbag off on a Renault Clio?
To deactivate the airbag: stationary vehicle, ignition off, push and turn lock 1 to the OFF position. With the ignition on, you must check that the warning light ¹ is lit on the display 2. This light remains permanently lit to let you know that you can fit a child seat.

What to do if your air bag light goes out?
If you want to check the seat connections,with the ignition off pull a connector apart and push it back together.Switch ignition on and see if the light goes out.Do this for each of the connections and you will find the suspect one,if any.
