Why do adults not listen to teens?
Adults call us oblivious to the “real world.” We’re belittled and told to grow up. Our thoughts and opinions are viewed as worthless. Adults expect us to care about what they have to say, but they do not reciprocate and listen to teens. No words can express how much this widespread attitude frustrates me.
