2008 Jeep JKU: This is the second time that this problem has occurred. The jeep is completely unresponsive. Remote unlock doesn’t work, no lights, dead dash, and can’t even get the jeep out of park. With 2 good, not cloned, keys, self programming new ones is easy and exactly as described above. You have to have 2 keys and the second key cannot be a clone of the first key. The two key method for our 2015 JK worked for us with one cloned key. Not sure if that changes by model and/or by year.
