How do I switch back to 2WD?
It’s easy to shift between four-wheel drive (4WD) and two-wheel drive (2WD) in your car….Here’s how.
- Slow your vehicle to a crawl (preferably 1-3 mph).
- Shift your transmission into neutral.
- Turn the transfer control case (the shifter that controls 2WD and 4WD) into its desired position.
- Put the vehicle back in gear.

How did I get stuck in 4WD Low?
After rapping on the transfer case motor and pushing two high it finally kicked out and went into 2H. While in two high i was able to switch in between 2H and AWD. While in AWD i shut off engine. truck shook and it knock me back down into 4LO. Any ideas? Its the encoder motor sensor.

Larger trees get the chainsaw or bow saw treatment…. trouble is these ones will regrow as the roots remain in the ground. In the middle are small trees up to 2″ grirth and 6 foot tall that are too big to pull by hand but tempting to try… this usually ends with an aching back.
