Took it to a local dealer and the diagnosis was, ” a lot of them do that”, said the e clip on the rear axle is hitting the spacer and that is making the noise. I say, BS, that is not acceptable, take it apart and reshim it.
Why do I hear clunking in my rear suspension?
Had the right rear shackle replaced due to rot but I think there are other components causing the noises I’m hearing now. Could be the remaining shackle bushings. I just don’t know and neither does my regular mechanic.
