How do I get a Henrico County library card?
You can register in one of three ways:
- Start your registration at home by using our online registration form.
- Print the Print the online registration form (Formulario de registración) and bring it to any of our open locations.
- Visit any HCPL location and fill out a library card registration form in person.
Why are library books withdrawn?
Book withdrawal is an important aspect of collection development. When library books lose the value for which they were originally selected, they should be withdrawn so that the collection remains vital and useful. To eliminate books containing obsolete information.
