How big is the intake valve on a VG33E?
The camshafts are driven by a single timing belt. The intake valve diameter is 42.0 mm (1.65 in), the exhaust valve diameter is 35.0 mm (1.38 in), the duration is 244° for the intake side and 240° for the exhaust side. Each valve used dual valve spring. The VG33E is equipped with two valves per cylinder with self-adjusting hydraulic lifters.
What’s the compression ratio on a Nissan VG33E?
The VG33E has a cast-iron block with a four-bearings crankshaft supported system. The cylinder bore is 91.5 mm (3.6 in), piston stroke is 83.0 mm (3.27 in) and the compression ratio rating is 8.9:1.
What kind of engine does a Nissan VG30E have?

How many horsepower does a Nissan Xterra VG33E have?
The VG33E is a 3,275 cc (3.3 L) version built in Smyrna, TN. Bore and stroke is 91.5 mm × 83 mm (3.60 in × 3.27 in). Output is 170 or 180 hp (127 or 134 kW) at 4,800 rpm, depending on year/vehicle, with 202 lb⋅ft (274 N⋅m) of torque at 2,800 rpm.
How much torque does a 3800 supercharger have?
Supercharger bolts: 17ft/lbs Crank Bolt: 111 ft/lbs + 76 degrees angle torque up to 10/98 111 ft/lbs +114 degrees angle torque 10/98 and up Cylinder head bolts: 37 ft/lbs + 130 degrees + 30 degrees up to 10/98
Where to find torque specs on Vortec V8?
I’ve only used torque specs on the cam sprocket bolt, rockers, head bolts, anything on the rotating assembly (rod bolts, main bolts…etc). sometimes the lower intake depending on the car, older vortec v8’s not gen 3 are very particular to this.
What are the torque specs for a fullthrottle V6?
My wrench-it-till-its-not-gonna-go-anywhere method has alwayse worked for me. head bolts are wrong, its 35, 55, 75 then 75 again. The rocker bolts from experience, wont hold at 11ft lbs, tighten them til they are real tight by hand.

What makes the 3.3 vg33et such a good car?
What makes the 3.3 a 3.3 is the bore of 91.5mm, the stroke length is shared with the 3.0 at 83mm. The pistons are cast like other VG’s having a compression ratio of 9:1 they also have the OWO imprint along with valve reliefs and a slight bowl to the center.
What makes a VG33E different from other VG series motors?
There are mostly minor location differences of components, routing of lines, and electronic components that visually set the VG33E apart, though these minor differences can be worked around by using parts from other VG Series motors.
