How do you use Earl may plant start?
Plant Start develops a strong root system while reducing the shock of transplant. Contains 3-10-3 fertilizer, Vitamin B-1, a rooting hormone and a soil penetrate. Apply to the soil prior to sodding new lawn. Use at planting time and repeat again in two to three weeks.

Can perennials grow through mulch?
A layer of mulch about 4 to 6 inches deep over the plants works well. Most perennials will pop through the mulch in spring. If the plants are young, small, or newly planted in fall, you may need to clear some of the mulch in spring so that the plants can emerge without difficulty through the winter protection.
