I work at a Jaguar dealership and I am also the proud owner of a 2007 XK convertible. We have sold approximately two dozen of these beauties and I have seen all of the issues that have come into our service department. Most of the issues have been misunderstandings in how the vehicle operates.

What should I do if my Jaguar XK battery goes bad?
If your battery is more than 3 years old – replace it. But the very BEST thing you can do, which will permanently eliminate any electrical issues is to keep the Jag on a “battery minder”, permanently attached, and plugged in when the car is not actually in use. The new version XK (2007 on) is a superb car.
