Can you use STP oil Treatment in diesel engine?
One bottle of STP® Oil Treatment for Diesel Engines will treat 6 litres of diesel oil (5% treat rate). The entire bottle should be added to oil when the engine is warm (but not overfilled).

Does oil treatment really work?
No. Oil additives are specially designed to blend with engine oil, but fuel additives are used to improve your vehicle’s fuel economy. Although some oil additives could boost your engine performance and indirectly improve your car’s gasoline consumption level, they’re different from fuel additives.
Does STP oil Treatment thicken your oil?
