Is Motability hire purchase?
No, Hire Purchase is no longer available through the Motability Scheme. Instead we are focusing solely on our all-inclusive, worry-free Contract Hire lease package.
Can I buy my Motability car 2020?
It may be possible to buy your car at the end of the contract, but this can only be discussed in the final three months of your lease. If you decide to buy your car at the end of the contract, but would also like to remain on the Scheme, you can do so, providing you are still eligible.

Your Motability dealer will require the Advance Payment to be paid in full on the day you collect your new car. The Advance Payment is not a refundable deposit, it is the remainder of the cost of the agreement that is not covered by your allowance paid to Motability over the length of the agreement.
Do you get your Motability deposit back?
If you have chosen a car with an Advance Payment, it will need to be paid in full to your dealer either before or on the day you collect your new car. This is a non-refundable upfront payment (not a deposit). Any deposit paid will be deducted from the Advance Payment when collecting your car.
