Can I use my own router with TDS?
TDS-provided modems are pre-activated for service and fully supported by TDS Technical Support. If you are providing your own modem, you need to call TDS at 1-877-422-5282 to activate your Internet service. Please note: Modems not provided by TDS are not supported by TDS Technical Support.
Does TDS fiber require a modem?

Why is TDS so slow?
Mostly when you’ve connected too many devices to your TDS internet connection, it tends to drop the signals and thus causes low speeds. It is better to disconnect all the other devices when you are using the internet on a single computer for work.
Why is my TDS WIFI not working?
Try another app that uses the Internet, to rule out an app issue. Plug the TDS modem back in first, wait for the Internet light to go green, then plug your router or switch back in. How do I bridge my TDS router?
- Go to “Advanced Setup” on the top menu.
- On the Left menu select “Port Bridging”
- Toggle Port1 Bridge to “enable”
- Click “apply” and wait for this page to refresh showing the change is done.
- Go back to Advanced Setup and scroll to the bottom and on the left menu there is an option to reboot the modem.
