What happens if the power door lock relay fails?
If the power door lock relay fails, it will cut off power to the entire power door lock system and may cause them to not function correctly. For vehicles equipped with door lock cylinders, the door can still be opened using the key.
Why does my central locking intermittant not work?
If the key warning switch is sticking in the closed position (akin to when the key is actually in), that could lead to the fobs appearing to not work. On my 07, when the key is in the ignition, and the driver door is opened, a warning “chime” sounds.
