Welcome to the Club, Steve. Any new car, particularly one with sophisticated electronics, can have hiccups. Warranties can usually sort those issues out. Are there any problems with the XF gear selector?
Just bought a new XF Jag but in the firts month I am having problems with the gear selector. When starting the engine it rises up and then goes down and stays down. This can happen three or four times in a row. Obviously you cant drive away and it has left me stranded for 10 -20 minutes at a time.
