The harley service manual says there is something up with the red wire from the speedo to the speedc sensor. That it must be split, frayed, compensated in some way. Going to have to trace that back and see what I come up with. Probably going to have to remove the gas tank (again.) Fun, fun. Turns out the speedometer is junk.
