Why is my camera not working in my car?
If your display is not powering on at all, it’s likely a problem with the display, not the camera, so check the wiring diagrams for your car. (If you installed the monitor yourself, double check your work. Plugging the camera into the AUX dash cable rather than video feed is a common problem with home installs. ).
What does it mean when your backup camera is not working?
If it’s a wifi camera, and it was working previously, it likely means that the camera or the display needs a reset. Closed the hatch again. Display still not changed. Took car out of reverse and then back in again – the display went black, with the red/green parking lines showing but *no* picture from the camera). Then, after about 5-10 seconds, the camera picture suddenly appeared and all looked ok.
Why is the rear camera not working on my Kia?
Looked at the fuse box, but can’t see anything relating to a camera and in any case fuses are all well in and can’t see any way to remove them. Nothing else is failing to my knowledge. The manual seems to refer to the rear camera being in the mirror which mine is not, so that is not helpful.
