Why is my parking sensor not working on my Jaguar?
After reading up online I presumed that a broken sensor was the culprit so I took the car to my local independent garage explained the situation and left it with them.

2010 XF car will not lock or unlock from the fob. Been to jlr specialist who put it on the computer generated no fault codes and passed all tests. The car know you are trying to lock and unlock and which key you are trying with. But just won’t go the last stage.

Are there any problems with the Jaguar X350 XJ?
The 4.2 had the old suspension problem, both rear wishbone bushes gone on the back. Jaguar will tell you they have to replace the arm but I have heard you can just replace the bush. Mine was under warranty so didnt care. Also it had a problem with a throttle housing….. that was fairly simple to sort out.

I then drove forward to purposely get near to a parked car but that made no sound either from the front sensors. neither was the camera displaying the parking aid screen. I reached up to the roof console and pressed the parking button to see if that would activate the sensors, it did not.
