Why is my Mazda 5 making a clunking noise?
Car has had clunking noises from rear suspension. Dealer diagnosed bad strut, recommended replacement. A second opinion from a trusted repair shop found no functional problem with the strut/shocks, no loose parts or fasteners, but did acknowledge the noise. We believe the noises are a “feature” not a “bug” of the Mazda 5 suspension.
