Why is my Hyundai Sonata door light not working?
Hi, I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata that I bought in Fall of 2014. One day I accidentally closed the driver’s side door on the metal part of the seat belt that was hanging out and it caused the switch to not work properly (the door indicator light for the driver side comes on or causes the driver side door to unlock).

How much does it cost to replace the door latch on a Hyundai Sonata?
The assholes who designed this suv thought it would be a great idea to put the door sensor on the latch. Both the outer and middle door panels have to be removed to replace the entire door latch ($150 part). The labor costs another $275. Nice design job by the WTF Hyundai engineers.
