One other thing is that whatever ate the diaphragm and the fuel pump and the 3 way valve may of degraded the lines to the point that they gumped up the inlet on the carb. What do you guys think? Thanks I couldn’t really figure out why it dies after great runs.

Why did my 2011 Polaris XP 850 die?

After riding about 20 miles on a hot day my 2011 Polaris XP 850 suddenly died. There were no indications of engine problems and the radiator hadn’t overheated. If I waited a few minutes it would start and run normally but it would die again in a few minutes.

Why is the magneto on my Polaris ATV not working?

A mechanic said it could be the stator getting hot but as I only have 325 hours on it and bought it new I can’t see how the magneto could be bad so soon. The only thing I can think of is that the plug cap might of got jerked on making it lose spark after it gets bumped around awhile. Or that the coil is failing.
