Why is my easy exit seat not working?
Jeep should be ashamed of themselves for not fixing this after five years! Hello new to the forum I’ve been having the same problem as the rest of you I’ve read the posts and tried them all with no luck in getting my seat to work. It will move forward when you select your option but will not move back automatically when you shut off.

There is a risk of injury. When leaving the vehicle, always take the SmartKey with you and lock the vehicle. Never leave children unsupervised in the vehicle. If you drive off while the EASY-ENTRY/EXIT feature is making adjustments, you could lose control of the vehicle. There is a risk of an accident.
Do you put the seat forward then back?
Some have posted put seat forward then back but don’t state whether engine running, or while box for setting is on or off at that time and then when to check box again and wether to stop engine and turn on again and so on. Any help would be great. Thanks. Place the ignition in the run position.

Any help would be great. Thanks. Place the ignition in the run position. (Engine off) Ensure there is nothing preventing full and free movement of the seat and run all the way forward. Then run all the way back. Ignition to the off position.
Why is the easy exit button not working?
I can adjust the seat and then save and it shows it’s been saved. However after moving the seat and then hitting the #1 or #2 button does nothing. Also at the same time the easy exit stopped working. Anyone have this issue and or know how to fix ?

This feature can be turned on or turned off with just a few steps: 1. Press the Up/Down buttons on the steering wheel until Settings is displayed on the instrument panel, then press the OK button. 2. Press the Up/Down buttons until Convenience is displayed, then press the OK button.
