Why is my International 4700 engine not starting?
I am dealing with an international 4700 w/ the dt466e engine option and am unfamiliar with the fuel and engine control system. The drain plug on the high pressure oil pump was stripped and was run dry, truck was then shut off, and would not restart several hours later after being refilled.
Where is the CKP sensor on the HT 570?
The CKP is installed in the top left side of the flywheel housing. NOTE: This long CKP sensor, used with International® DT 466, DT 570, and HT 570 diesel engines, is the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor used with other International® diesel engines. The CMP sensor provides the ECM with a signal that indicates camshaft position.
Why does my dt466e no start-fuel problem?
Got that all fixed. Realized that my primer pump would leak when I would pump it, replaced the entire assembly. Filled both filters, truck fired on the first try. Now today go to run a call, cranks and cranks wont start. Gave a shot of ether, fires but wont run on diesel.

Why does my International 7500 not reach 60 psi?
If pressure is still not getting to 60 at idle , the next step would be to replace the transfer pump mounted on the high pressure pump . It is more expensive to replace so you want to start with the regulator that is only 30 dollars or so to see if that cures the issue . Ok 60 psi. Will it reach that while cranking?
Is there a speedometer on an International 7500?
Not to forget the high pressure oil sensor You should be able to see cranking rpm . Needle barely moves but goes up almost 2 notches from the 0 . If you don’t see any speed at all , you need to check with a scanner capable of live data and seee if you see any speed on there.
