Why is fuel coming out of my carburetor air filter?

I just pulled the carb again getting searching for a new bowl gasket or Kit whichever is available. going to get an inline clear fuel filter for the fuel line and clean the fuel tanks. All the vacuum vent tubes are clear. I’m concerned about the vent line on the fuel cap, if that isn’t working properly that may be an issue.

I think you need to remove the carburetor and flip it upside down.While upside down remove the float bowl and look at the float needle and seat.The float should be sitting flat horizontally in referance to the carburetor body.

Why is gas coming out of my air cleaner?
If you have a bad needle and/or seat, gas could be leaking by it and getting into the crankcase. Going by your pictures, you may see some gas in the bottom of the air cleaner housing too if its leaking. KD can verify if this is correct. I just thought I’d say something before you jump on the shop.
