Why does the hold light go off on my Mazda?
The “HOLD” light is the one that is activated at the automatic transmission shift lever that down shifts one gear when you drive. If I turn the ignition key on / off several times the “HOLD” light goes off and the car starts and runs fine. This happens about 2 or 3 times a week. Is this a known problem with Mazda?
Why does my Mazda 626 keep flashing while driving?
Most likely due to overheating or a problem with the speed sensor. On my 626 I can often stop it by shifting into nuetral while driving, turning the car off (while in motion) and then turning it back on. I have also heard that disconnecting the battery cable (when the car is parked 😉 ) and holding in the brake petal for 30 seconds can help.

Where is the hold light on a Mazda Demio?
There should be a button near or on the shifter marked “hold”. If so push it to return the transmission to normal operation. You’ll get better gas mileage as well. There are two maintenance reminder systems. One that is adjustable thru the Infotainment system, but also one, that in the 2018, is set by dealer and can’t be turned off. AFAIK What Did You Do To Your 2014+ Mazda 3!! Let’s get this started for the 3rd gens!! I’m definitely interested to see some modded GenPee’s! Have you bought from this vendor?
