Why does my truck horn blow 3 times?

I tried it right after that and no matter how many times I lock then unlock it the horn wont blow. So I wait a while again (about an hour) then go to unlock it and sure enought the horn blows 3 times. Seems to only do it when the truck sits for a while. I disconnected the battery for 30 min or so then reconnected it.
