Why does my triumph start on the side stand?
Due to where my bike is located I need to get on and off it at least twice to get out the back gate and having to stop and restart the engine constantly is annoying. All my previous bikes have started on the side stand if in neutral so why Triumph designed it this way is baffling.

There is a very easy way to bypass the side stand switch. Remove the two wires from the switch and and install a paper clip into both wires this will tell the system that the stand is up. This will also tell you that if the unit runs that the switch itself is bad at that point take electrical tape and rap the wires and order a new switch.
