Why does my Suzuki 03 year shut off while riding?

Stalling while riding is a common problem with the 03 year. Everyone says kickstand, but that wasn’t the cause for my stalling and couldn’t find a solution anywhere online. When it stalls it just shows CHEC, which doesn’t give an error code. And sometimes it shows FI and gives C32, C33, C34, C35 (FUEL INJECTOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION).

When I got off the highway and stoped at a red light it died while idling. Again I ran and popped it in first gear and got it started. Made it home. Pull out the plugs give them a clean and put them back in, run a couple of tanks with injector cleaner and see how you go. It FEELS like a fuel issue, like it’s intermittently not getting gas so it wants to stall. Thanks for the tips I’ll try it out and keep you posted.

What should I do if my dirt bike won’t start?

If the sediment bowl looks clean, with the sediment bowl removed, place a folded rag below the carburetor and briefly turn the gas on and almost immediately back to off. At this time fuel should flow from within the carburetor and run out the bottom of the carburetor where the sediment bowl generally resides.

Get a buddy (or two) to push the bike to terminal velocity. Then, pull in the clutch, shift the bike to second gear (third on a big bore) and pop the clutch. Once the bike starts to churn over, keep it moving until you can clean the flooded gas out. Ride it around for a few minutes to clean up the plug. There’s one problem with this method, though.
