Why does my Kia Sportage have a fault?
My Sportage has been at the dealer’s all day & the internal sensors have a fault so they have ordered a new internal light unit which contains the sensors.As it’s on back-order, no idea when it will be fixed, but soon…
Why is there no alarm on my Kia?
Dealer had car all day for testing to ensure alarm was fixed, so this is why your dealer wants it all day I suspect. Only by disabling internal sensors can I guarantee no alarm, so it’s definitely the internal sensors. Booked in next week and so will report back then.
Why does my car alarm keep going off?
The alarm on my car keeps going off randomly. has gone off about 12 times this morning. I’ve tried closing the panoramic blind incase it was sunlight or passing birds affecting the sensors.
When does the car alarm go off in hot weather?
It goes off in hot weather or when its raining, windy or not. have taken into dealer who have reset the alarm and kept it in all day and no problem, had the car back and no problems for about a week and then its started acting up again. I’ve checked the door/bonnet sensors, seem all okay 9clean, dry).
Is there a removable key for the Kia Sportage alarm?
The Fob has a hidden removable key in it to enable the doors to be unlocked in the event that you had a flat battery but I would have thought that locking the door by whatever means would have the effect of activating the alarm. I travel on ferries to France most months but a sailing next week will be the first with my new Sportage.
