When I start my kia Sorrento after it been sitting for a while it makes a loud type noise then it smooths out what can that be? Depends on where that loud noise is coming from and what it sounds like. It could be the valve lifters because all the oil has drained down to the base. It could be the timing chain. Noises are not good.
