Why does my Fitbit Blaze keep flashing its logo?

Checked Blaze, it was flashing the Fitbit logo. Took it out of cradle and flashing speed increased. Put it back in cradle, it slowed. Looked up problem in forums and it said try restart. So because I could not swipe to the settings screen, tried a manual restart by holding left button and bottom right button for 12 seconds. Nothing, still flashing.
