Why does FCW not work on Dodge Ram?

This is strange in that the front sensors work magnificently for the ACC (adaptive cruise control) which works spectacularly just as described and the rear sensors have actually engaged the brakes when backing too quickly with obstructions near by so why does the FCW not work?

Why does my FCW warning go off when I wash my longhorn?

Last time I washed my 2019 Longhorn the warning (but not braking thank God) would randomly go off with nothing in front of me. It quit after a while but I got to thinking maybe something got wet and was causing a short. Strange. Have just got back from pulling 5th wheel to Texas and back.

Yet to get a audible or visible warning no matter how close to another vehicle. Need to get FCA involved and some answers. This is considered a safety system enhancement.

On another forum others have indicated that their FCW engaged the brakes at highway speed with nothing in the way to seemingly cause that to happen which scared the sxxt out of them and could have caused passenger injury if not for seat belts being worn! Now that is scary!

What does’fcw system failure’, LDW and the Check Engine light?

FCW failure is related to the front camera you car has. If you had an after market windshield installed it won’t work. You need to have the camera static and dynamically aimed. What happens if I Turn on ACC while driving?

If I attempt to turn on ACC while driving I get the message “ACC/FCW Unavailable Service Required”. They are aware of the issue and have ordered a new “module”. They said it would take a week to get the part and then they would need to keep it for a week so they can drive it everyday to program it.

Why are adaptive cruise control and Forward Collision Warning disabled?

Somewhere in there (Lane Sense would be my guess) they have completely disabled the Adaptive Cruise Control and the Forward Collision Warning. Shortly after the truck starts I get the two orange icons in the picture below that appear to show them as disabled.
