Why do my car lights not always turn off?
Lights will not always turn off when you switch them off. Driving lights will stay on and have caused the battery to drain twice. Have jumped the car and ensured the lights were not on. The following day the battery was dead again.
How long can you Leave your car headlights on until the battery dies?
Just make the headlights NOT WORK if there’s no key. It also makes theft a bit tougher, to boot. My 8-year-old battery probably wouldn’t keep them lit for more than 2-3 hours. I’m thankful for the piercing beep that my car makes if I turn off the car and leave the lights on.
