My 2000 did the same thing. The heater core is the high-point in the coolant system, so any air that gets in accumulates there. To get it out, you can elevate the front end and run the truck for 15 or 20 minutes with the coolant tank cap off. Top off and watch for leaks.
Why does my olds Bravada make a gurgling noise?
Only difference is with mine, instead if sounding like pouring water, it sounds exactly like the sound you would hear if a tire had a leak and you put water on it to isolate the leak. Only happens upon acceleration as well. Just wondering if this issue was ever resolved. My Olds Bravada makes that sound but only upon rapid acceleration.
