How much lighter is a Thinline Telecaster?
Thinline Weight When it comes to weight, as with semi-hollow design means the Thinline is obviously much lighter than the regular solid body version, meaning a more comfortable and playable guitar. The Thinline only weighs 6.5lb which is a very light and forgiving guitar to wear for 2-hour gigs.
Are Thinline guitars any good?
Great little guitar for the price, made well with a solid build, looks high quality, doesn’t look cheap at all. It plays low with low action meaning the strings are closer to the frets on the finger board which is a good thing. Frets are nice and solid. It has a plastic nut and saddle with plastic string pegs.
