Who is xavius?
Xavius was the first satyr ever. He was originally a Highborne night elf and the person who first accidentally contacted Sargeras, beginning the Legion’s invasion of Azeroth 10,000 years ago. After he was killed by Malfurion Sargeras tortured his spirit and then recreated him as a satyr.
Is xavius dead?
Using an arrow shot by Shandris, Malfurion was able to kill Xavius by growing a tree which absorbed his energy and body, and which was subsequently sent to the bottom of the sea in the Great Sundering. This was the second time Xavius died at the hands of Malfurion.
How do you spawn xavius?
Phase 1:
- The raid should be loosely spread out behind Xavius.
- The two Xavius tanks should swap at 3-4 stacks of Darkening Soul.
- The Dream Simulacrum tank should pick up the Corruption Horror and tank it near the boss, facing away from other players.
- All DPS should switch to the Corruption Horror when it spawns.
How do you spawn Elerethe renferal?
To access Elerethe Renferal, players should take the Mulgore portal at the end of the southeast path in the Core of Nightmares. Follow the path downhill past the neutral wildlife into the spider-infested canyon below.

Before being able to fight Cenarius, you must complete the Nythendra, Ursoc, Il’gynoth, Elerethe Renferal, and Dragons of Nightmare encounters. Once completed, you may speak with Malfurion to gain access to the Cenarius encounter.
