Which is worse a Yamaha 1200 or 800?
The 800s were fun skis, but they had more problems than the 1200s. This is just my opinion, but I think the 800 engines were Yamaha’s worst. Other models were more reliable and fewer problems.

Re: 2000 Yamaha Waverunner XL800 worth……? Polaris went out of the ski business around 2005 or 2006, and it wasn’t because they were making great skis. Polaris parts are hard to find…..same goes for TigerShark and Wet Jet. I’d avoid all those brands. Look for SeaDoo or Yamaha and you will be OK.

Are there any problems with my Yamaha xl700?
