Where is the MICU located on a Honda Civic?
The MICU is built into the interior fuse block. To my knowledge, there is only one version of the interior fuse block for the 07 Si coupe (FG2). It is the same part number for 07 & 08 LX, EX, EX-L & Si coupes.
Can a Honda dealer reprogram a MICU module?
The dealer can do it, but if you are looking to save money there are guys and shops around that can reprogram modules. If the shop knows what J2534 programing is then they could do it and explain what’s involved. They will need a subscription to Honda to get it done so your best bet would be trying to find a specialist shop. I believe it does.
Where are the fuses located in a Honda Civic?
Fuses, located in-between the battery, are the electrical components your car draws power from. It’s important to know where the fuses are located and what each fuse does, so that if you ever have a problem you know where to start looking.
Can a MICU be rewired to turn on a lamp?
If the MICU grounds a wire to turn the lamp on maybe you could rewire the thing to make it work the way you want it to.
Can a MICU be replaced on a Honda Civic Si?
MICU Replacement? Have an 07 Civic Si coupe and have had an issue for a while now where if I set the interior dome/map lights to the “Door” setting, they stay on continuously. Finally decided to have it checked at the stealership and got told the MICU is bad (constantly grounded for the door sensors) and needs a replacement.
