How do you change the fuel line on a Porsche Cayenne?
Right side of car: Squeeze the tabs on the fuel line connector (green arrows) and pull the fuel line (yellow arrow) out of the fuel pump. At this point, note the position of the fuel pump and turn the whole housing counter-clockwise 90 degrees to release it from the tank.

The disconnect point is located under the driver’s side carpet, near the seat. You’ll see a slit in the carpet, pull it up and you’ll see the 13mm acorn nut holding the ground lead to the frame (green arrow). Remove the nut and pull the lead up off the post.

The high-pressure fuel pump sits on the rear of the left head and is driven by the camshaft (red arrow). There is a stainless steel line out from it to the fuel rail (yellow arrow). There is a sturdy metal protective crash plate behind the pump in front of the firewall.

Is there a problem with the fuel pump?
Hard starting and rpm fluctuations. Replaced battery, no change, replaced fuel filter, no change. Assuming it is the fuel pump after reading all the posts. Car starts but soon stalls out. Took it in to the Porsche dealership. Said it was a the fuel pump. I have owned many cars in my life and never had a fuel pump issue.
